ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Measles is a highly contagious and potentially dangerous disease. U.S. vaccination rates are at their lowest since the measles vaccine was introduced in 1964.
- Because St. Jude patients have weakened immune systems, we ask that visitors who have not received age-appropriate measles vaccinations (or who have not had the disease and recovered prior to the vaccine era), refrain from visiting campus.
- These updated guidelines apply to all guests and visitors except guests or family members of patients.

Infection Control considerations
- While casual interactions with patients and families are inevitable (such as passing in a hallway, in line at Starbucks), seeking out patients or families for longer interactions is discouraged.
- Face masking is required during flu season (October - March) for guests who are unvaccinated against flu. Face masking is optional outside of flu season.

- Do not visit campus if you are sick.
- Guest should self-screen (minors should be screened by an adult) for contagious symptoms before coming to campus. Guests who have any of these symptoms should not come on campus.
- COVID-19, flu or cold symptoms
- Fever of 100.4° or more
- Symptoms of stomach virus
- Pink eye
- Rash due to viral illness (i.e., chickenpox, measles)
